Do No Harm

Just completed this sitting with a beautiful backdrop here on a nature preserve in Central California, and I'm confident in saying I'll be ordering another book from this author.  Robert Pobi's descriptiveness is enthralling, the phases chosen are needlessly wordy in the most entertaining of ways.  And the storyline wasn't bad either.  I'm just recently re-entering the world of fiction and while this wasn't the emotionally evoking world from the recently devoured account of Nazi-occupied France, it kept me hooked all the way through...and I don't mind at all not shedding tears while I read lol.  Definitely recommended.  Grab a copy.  Or come borrow mine.

What do I say about this?  It reads like youth. Disjointed in structure from individual sentence to overarching plot. I needed something to turn my mind off with and get lost in...not sure it got there. Or maybe I'm getting old.  My knees seem to think so. I'll give it to my college-age son for Christmas and see what he thinks.

Completed reading in December 2022. Brilliantly descriptive author, fully immersive world, reads like a true story. Amazing in it's detail and obvious level of research.  Emotionally devastating.

Completed reading in November of 2022 overlapping with the start of a new job. Inspired incessant scribbling on my whiteboard on notebook alike.  Great read for leaders. Big takeaway: Create an environment where opinions are valued and employees are safe to express themselves.
